We conduct various camps and events in the village areas which will benefits the villages and people who lack medical facility.
It was 2 years since initiation of the work in Kodaikanal, The staff had picnic and team building activity in the Kookal lake & Kaunji village

PAWAN KAIPA ( Coordinator of Rural hospital Network and resilient routes) visited our center in Kodaikanal.
14th March 2023,marked an year since it’s inception for sirumalai health center. We could not be more grateful to all who have been instrumental in help us become who we are.
Sensitization camp was conducted to sensitize people about it’s presence in this region. People from adukkam, sothuparai, vadagounchi, pethuparai, region visited.
Started on 14th February 2022 as a single physician clinic Our first staff was Sister Satya who joined quiet soon
Annual medicine conference on a very unique theme -Equity in health . The center participated in this three day event at Vellore.
Screening for Diabetes and Hypertension was done Including Ecg and other blood work such as hemoglobin and creatinine, for the needy.
We facilitated surgeries for our listed cataract patients whom we have screened in our community opthalmology clinics .

With this camp at Gurusedimettu we wind up our phase one of village camps and look forward to phase 2 where we shall roll out the village clinics
The initiatives of SITHARA are currently focused on providing high-quality responsive and dignified primary care to the rural mountain communities as well in creating sustainable livelihood opportunities for the tribal communities
